Stoke Newington ward forum meeting - 30th Sept - one way system and transport issues in our area

Dear all

Our next Stoke Newington ward forum is on Tuesday 30th September, 7pm at St Paul’s Church, Stoke Newington Road (enter via main church door).

We will be discussing future transport plans in Stoke Newington, so if you are interested in anything to do with the one way system, walking, cycling, public transport and road safety in our local area, please do come along. We will spend the meeting:

•       Receiving an update on the latest plans to remove the one way system from Hackney’s Streetscene officers – there are different options that are being modelled and there is a commitment from Transport for London to take forward the plans

•       Hackney’s Transport Strategy which is currently being consulted on – we will look at the implications for Stoke Newington and gather your ideas so we can make a submission before the consultation closes.

Ward forums are an opportunity to bring people together with your local councillors to identify priorities for improving our area.

We look forward to seeing you on 30th. If you know any other residents who might be interested - please do forward this on – all are welcome!

Louisa
